Adventure Photography for Outdoor Lifestyle Brands | Los Angeles Photographer

In my work, adventure photography is a mix of travel and lifestyle photography, which comes together to create a brand narrative around a destination or product. As an outdoor commercial photographer based in Los Angeles, I enjoy working with brands to create authentic content in different locations like the mountains or at the beach. I have had the fortunate opportunity to work with models to produce photoshoots based around adventure photography.

Discover New Locations

One of the most rewarding parts of my work is showcasing new and exciting outdoor locations. With adventure photography, I am able to craft a story that promotes the beauty of nature and how people interact with their environment.

Whether its popular tourist beach attractions or unexplored mountain ranges, these destinations have a history that can be told through authentic imagery. As a result, I like to take a documentary-style point of view with my photography when adventuring through these locations.

Enhancing Stories with Action Lifestyle Photography

Human interaction plays a big role in telling a brand’s story. As a Los Angeles lifestyle photographer, I work with on-camera talent to produce a variety of different content, including action photography. Lifestyle photography can be tricky because you’re setting the stage for a scene, but have to make it look unplanned.

Environmentalism and Restorative Work

"Brian has an amazing eye. It’s a pleasure to work with such a talented and generous person. He perfectly captured TreePeople’s restoration projects at our Coldwater Canyon Park headquarters and the L.A. River Greenway."

Kai McDaniel | Public Relations Specialist | TreePeople

I have had the incredible privilege of collaborating with TreePeople, one of the largest environmental organizations in Southern California, in order to produce lifestyle content that showcases their environmental work in the field. From social media posts to email newsletters, I welcomed my images to be featured on TreePeople’s different marketing channels to raise awareness of their sustainability mission and work.

Their work ranges from restoration and conservation to community forestry to urban environmental research.
